Proventus is pleased to announce that Burton Taylor has been selected to serve on The Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association’s Communications Advisory Committee for 2015.
In his second term with the committee, Taylor will support the KCMBA’s communications and marketing initiatives and be involved with planning for the bar association’s publications, including KC Counselor.
All committee members are appointed by the KCBMA Board of Directors and Committee Chairs on an annual basis.
“It is an honor and a privilege to continue to serve the bar association in this capacity,” Taylor said. “I have been fortunate to be involved with the Kansas City legal community for the bulk of my career, and we are proud to continue to serve as a dedicated resource to the industry.”

The Kansas City Business Journal recently featured Proventus Consulting as an agency that “helps companies find low- and no-cost ways to market their brand and business” in an article aimed at providing businesses tips on marketing their business on a budget.

Proventus Consulting is pleased to announce that Emily Brown has joined its team as Marketing Communications Coordinator. Brown will join our legal marketing and public relations teams to serve clients by helping them develop and execute on successful strategies for increasing visibility, strengthening brand and creating opportunity for increased business development.
Previously, Brown served as an Assistant Account Executive at GlynnDevins Advertising & Marketing where she worked with clients to coordinate and implement a variety of marketing tactics within the full-service agency.
Additionally, Brown has gained valuable insight from working at other public relations and marketing agencies in Kansas City where she aided in media relations efforts for a wide range of accounts — both national and regional. Her knowledge and experience is going to be valuable in executing on our clients’ public relations needs.
Brown is a graduate of the University of Missouri—Columbia School of Journalism.
